enhanced connection and increase economic opportunity

The goal of the Downtown Alley Improvements project in Fort Collins, Colorado, was to make the area more pedestrian-friendly, improve vehicle access, enhance connections to Old Town Square, and increase economic viability of the area.

Clanton & Associates provided full-scope lighting design and electrical engineering services which contributed to the on-schedule and on-budget delivery of the completed project. Multiple layers of light were employed using a combination of conventional and solid state (LED) technologies. This strategy ensured that color appearance was maximized while minimizing glare.

Close coordination with project stakeholders throughout the process helped to ensure competing priorities were managed simultaneously, including energy use and maintenance costs, while delivering a visually attractive and cohesive design.
