April joined Clanton & Associates in 2016 as a Lighting Engineer and provides lighting design documentation, calculations, project renderings, reports, and support through all phases of projects. She is also involved with several communities to assist in the development of codes and ordinances for outdoor lighting. She is passionate for progressive, intentional design. She has been working in the Denver/Boulder area since 2013, and has been involved in a variety of project types, including landscape, roadway, civic, small-scale commercial, high-end residential, and hospitality

April holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is a registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in the State of Colorado, and a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES). She is currently serving her third year as Secretary for the IES Rocky Mountain Section Board of Members.
