Google's 1212 Bordeaux is a forward-thinking office project designed to optimize the comfort and productivity of employees in an open-plan office environment.
This 100,000 square-foot facility serves as a testbed for innovative strategies in workplace design, focusing on key elements such as daylighting, air quality, and acoustics.
The project’s goal is to evaluate and refine various approaches that enhance occupant comfort while collecting valuable data on their effectiveness. The design team, working closely with Clanton Associates, measured the impact of these strategies to determine what worked best in achieving a high-performance, healthy, and productive workspace.
