Dane Sanders

Dane has been with Clanton & Associates since 2002. With strong design and technical skills in lighting, daylighting and controls, Dane approaches challenging projects with inspired and innovative designs. Many of his projects are LEED certified, including six LEED Platinum projects. His project experience includes museums, exhibits, art galleries, convention centers, commercial interiors, streetscapes, transportation, city master plans, outdoor public spaces, and lighting policy development. He is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Colorado Illumination Engineering Program for daylighting, lighting controls, and advanced lighting design and detailing. He also speaks at lighting and energy conferences such as LightFair and Greenbuild.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering, with an emphasis in Illumination from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado. Dane is a LEED Accredited Professional and has volunteered on the LEED Environmental Quality Technical Advisory Group. Before joining Clanton & Associates, Dane's lighting experience included three months in London, England, and two years in Sydney, Australia with projects completed in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. Dane is a recipient of IALD and IESNA lighting awards. His interests include graphics and light as art.
