Anschutz Medical Campus Lighting Study

The Anschutz Medical Campus integrates the University Hospital, University of Colorado Health Sciences, and medical research laboratories on one 227 acre campus in Aurora, CO. The Anschutz Medical Campus contracted Clanton & Associates to perform a campus-wide outdoor lighting study to improve pedestrian safety and prioritize areas of improvement for immediate, short-term, and long-term improvements as the campus shifts to LED lighting. The scope of the lighting study included pedestrian walkways, plazas, courtyards, streets, pedestrian crossings, and parking lots. The lighting study was completed in 2014 and the construction documents for the first priority areas are nearing completion.
