Dane Sanders

Dane has been with Clanton & Associates since 2002. He is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Colorado Illumination Engineering Program for daylighting, lighting controls, and advanced lighting design and detailing. He also speaks at lighting and energy conferences such as LightFair, Greenbuild, ArchLED, and GSA Capital Construction Workshop. Dane has extensive experience in daylighting and lighting controls.

  • Old Faithful Visitors Center (Yellowstone National Park, WY)

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering, with an emphasis in Illumination from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado. Dane is a LEED Accredited Professional and serves as a guest expert on the LEED User website. Several of his projects are LEED certified, including four LEED Platinum projects.

Before joining Clanton & Associates, Dane's lighting experience included three months in London, England, and two years in Sydney, Australia with projects completed in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. Dane is a recipient of IALD and IESNA lighting awards. His interests include graphics and light as art.
